George III silver-gilt horseracing trophy by William Frisbee London, dated 1803, equine and greenfield finial on lamb's-tongue decorated dome cover, over vasiform flanked by masked handles, one side with applied horserace scene cartouche, and the opposing side engraved with winner's dedication: Boroughbridge Races 1805, Stewards, The Earl of Darlington and John Ingleby Esqr; complete hallmarks, and retailer's mark of Rundell, Bridge & Rundell.
H18 1/2" W12 1/2", and 98.0oz Troy

Other Notes: This Gold Cup was won at the Boroughbridge Race on 28th August, 1805.
