George III style mahogany bureau bookcase mid 19th century
broken-arch pediment with pierced fretwork over dentil-molded crown and pair of seven-light doors, on lower case with slant front concealing fitted interior with prospect door and valanced pigeon holes, over two short and three long drawers, on molded base with bracket feet.

  • Bail is missing on one handle; stabilized closed shrinkage cracks in both side panels; repairs to fretwork; overall good condition with other minor imperfections expected with age.
