George V sterling hot water urn Sheffield, dated 1926, molded and banded cover on elongated hemisphere bowl suspended on reeded and lion's-paw legs on quatrefoil and bun-footed base, fitted with ornate spigot and flanked by ringed lion's-mask handles and burner; complete hallmarks and maker's mark, JR.
H18" W10", and 134.5oz troy

Provenance: Charlotte, North Carolina private collection.

    Condition:
  • Good original condition; burner cover with two small dents; hairlines to ivory finial.
