broken-arch bonnet with brass finial and rosettes housing 8-day weight-driven, time and strike movement with brass dial signed "Dan Brown, Glasgow", over case with eglomise spandrels and glazed tombstone-form door flanked by colonettes, elongated case with Gothic-arched door and fluted quarter columns, on stepped lower case with molded base and ogee bracket feet.
