Georgian style mahogany secretary bookcase
circa 1840
stepped cornice with dentil molding overhanging two cupboard doors on a molded base; the case with a hinged slant-lid opening to a configuration of small drawers and pigeonholes centering a small door, all over four long graduated drawers resting on a molded base with bracket feet. (Shrinkage cracks to rear of side panels of lower case, minor nicks and dents consistent with age, with restorations and alterations)
