Gorham aesthetic sterling coffeepot dated 1880, egg-shaped finial on domed hinged cover and flaring body decorated with floral and palmette band engraved with initials LMB and flanked by stylized twig and bamboo handle and spout; marked: Lion and Anchor, Sterling, #2185, M (date letter).
H8 3/4", and 18.0oz troy

Provenance: Estate of Virgina Comer, Macon, Georgia.

    Condition:
  • Two linear dents to back; otherwise in very good original condition.
