H.J. Mullan and Co. 12-gauge percussion SxS hammer sporting gun circa 1850; profusely engraved locks with pheasants and turkeys, marked "H.J. MULLAN AND CO. NEW ORLEANS" on both locks, carved English style straight checkered walnut stock and tapered forend with two wedge fasteners, engraved forend tip and blank gold initial shield, original oak ramrod with brass tip.

  • Very good overall condition. Provenance shows this gun to have been Confederate used as a foraging gun and possibly in combat.
