Important George II mahogany tea table circa 1750
circular top with scalloped edge, relief-carved with sprays of foliage, fruit and nuts, tilting on twist-turned and carved vasiform standard, resting on three cabriole legs terminating with claw and suppressed ball feet.

    Condition:
  • 1" of shrinkage across top, color of top is blotchy under lacquer, several small putty patches in top, top reset with original battens, probably had casters which are now missing, excellent overall condition with minor imperfections consistent with age.
