J.P. Sauer & Sohn, Suhl "Knock About" Model shotgun circa 1895
serial number 57238; 12-gauge, engraved 8-pin full sidelock with clock-hand cocking indicators, top lever and Greener crossbolt, double triggers, walnut full pistolgrip stock with engraved metal grip cap, matching forearm with Deeley release, white line recoil pad, swing swivels.

Other Notes: Both tubes experienced choked shot proof with the right tube being stamped "13/1", the left tube stamped "12" together with multiple "Caveman" stamps along with large and small crowns on the barrel flats denoting excellent craftsmanship and superb shooting performance. What appears to be chamber/load data on the underside of the right tube near the lower rib is as follows: "PAPP.12 65.575S.P.345BL. T."
