Chase painted a large portrait of Miss Dora Wheeler which now hangs at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Dora was the daughter of Candace Wheeler -- the famed American female textile and interior design who worked with Tiffany & Co. Dora and her mother were responsible for the library ceiling mural of the Women's Building at the 1893 Exposition.
