late 19th century
rectangular top inset with tooled brown leather writing surface and with molded ormolu rim, the frieze with two drawers centered by a mask with hair intertwined with scrolling foliage, the back fitted to match the front; raised on cabriole legs with ormolu chutes and sabots. (Stains to writing surface, some nicks, overall good condition)
