superstructure with a pierced ormolu gallery above three frieze drawers, the roll top opening to reveal a configuration of pigeonholes, drawers and a leather-lined writing slide, the lower part with five drawers and a kneehole space, raised on tapered legs with ankle collars and brass caps. (Old repairs, chips to veneer, wear consistent with age)
