Louis XVI style bronze-mounted vitrine, Francois Linke last quarter 19th century
shaped fleur de pecher marble top over conforming cabinet with glazed door and sides over veneered panels, resting on short round tapering legs with turned brass feet.

Provenance: Property deaccessioned from the Centennial Museum at the University of Texas at El Paso to benefit the Museum Collections Fund. (Accession #69.26.420)

Other Notes: Door lock is stamped "Ct. Linke" (Clement Linke)

  • Molding missing on top. Patch by lock. Trim is pulling away near bottom. Veneer is cracking. Other minor imperfections expected with age. Cabinet lighting probably added at a later date.
