Louis XVI style mahogany and bronze-mounted bedstead last quarter 19th century
paneled headboard surmounted with arched cornice board and pineapple finials, flanked by fluted columns, on trumpet feet, with corresponding low footboard unified by siderails.

Joints of bed are tight, siderails have been lengthened by 9". One rosette missing from headboard, cornice slightly bowed. Good overall condition, with nicks and scratches consistent with age. Inside of bed measures 56" in width and 82" in length, which is the the size of a full extra-long mattress.
