Pair Chinese Export famille rose porcelain plates circa 1735-75
alternating rose and turquoise ruyi-head motifs containing geometric designs centering green, brown, rose and underglaze blue garden scene, including potted bonsai, bamboo leaves and peonies, with gilt accents to branches and leaves.

Other Notes: Bearing labels on verso: Bulett & Sons, London and Mrs.Orr, Macon.

    Condition:
  • One with a tiny rim chip and tiny glaze flakes, the other with a few glaze flakes. Both showing some wear to painted decoration. Backs retain old stickers, labels, and collection tags.
