Pair Chinese Export Watson armorial plates circa 1770
scalloped and floral painted rim surmounted by crest of Admiral John WATSON, and spearhead band centering floral spray.

Provenance: The J. Louis Binder Collection of Chinese Export Porcelain (a portion of which sold in an eponymous auction at Christie's of London in 2003).

    Condition:
  • One with two small rim nicks to top. The other with three small nicks to underside of base.

    ** All Chinese Export porcelain pieces have been examined under bright light and UV light. All show slight wear consistent with age. Only repairs and restorations, or wear greater than expected will be mentioned in condition reports.
