square covered with brass bound chamfered corners and gilt fern decorations on conforming ribbed body raised on brass-bound and decorated stylized hoof legs; all bound with braided rope ending in tassels.

Provenance : Estate of Miss Frances Patterson, long-time resident of Japan.
Purchased in 1962 in Machida Japan.
