Description:

Pair Paris porcelain campagna urns circa 1825, fruit-laden bamboo and gilt-banded flared rim on vasiform body decorated with Classical scenes above fruit and bamboo frieze on gilt pedestal and faux marble painted base, and flanked by lion's-masque handles.
H12 1/2" Dia.9 3/4"

Provenance: Estate of the late Francis D. "Skeeter" McNairy, Savannah, Georgia.

    Condition:
  • Urns in good condition with good coloration and spots of heavily worn gilding and some re-gilding. Separation cracks occurring at each handle and masque. One handle may have been repaired.
