Description:

Pair Regency lustres and compote circa 1820, pair of lustres with cut-glass finial and base mounted with gilt-bronze arms supporting two-tiered candleholders draped with prisms, H15"; together with similar compote, H12 1/2" (3pcs)

Provenance: Estate of the late Francis D. "Skeeter" McNairy, Savannah, Georgia.

    Condition:
  • One lustre in good original condition; the other lustre with portion of bobeche broken and missing, that same section with missing prisms. Prisms in good condition with some minor nicks at edges, one or two cloudy, and some with wax residue. Compote in very good original condition.
