Pair Sevres style gilt-metal mounted porcelain urns 19th century
flared rims of leaves and clusters of fruit over elongated ovoid form flanked by scrolling handles, decorated with cartouche of romantic figures in landscape, on pierced base with shells and flowerheads; converted to lamps.

Provenance: Property from a Southern gentleman, Columbia, South Carolina.

    Condition:
  • Overall in very good condition. The urns have been converted to lamps and drill to receive wiring; the gilding has some wear and spots of heavy rubbing. Height is 40 1/2"
