Palmetto Armory Confederate .69 caliber smooth bore musket circa 1852, NVSN. Modeled after the 1842 musket with walnut stock, lock marked forward of the hammer "PALMETTO ARMORY S.C." behind hammer is marked, "COLUMBIA S.C. 1852", with the initials GOM carved in the stock.
