Pottersville stoneware jug circa 1830, Edgefield, South Carolina
alkaline glazed with ovoid form having well-tooled double ring lip with thick strap handle.
H15 1/2" W10 1/2"

Provenance: Newberry, South Carolina private collection.

    Condition:
  • Spout rim with two chips. Glaze flakes to base edge. Minor inherent glaze imperfections throughout.
