Description:

Primitive Southern painted pine huntboard 19th century
two plank rectangular top over two short drawers and scalloped skirt elevated on tapering legs.
H43" L50" D19 1/4"

Provenance: Property from the estate of Ruth Wilson Davis, Newberry, South Carolina.

    Condition:
  • Shrinkage crack across top, nails somewhat proud of surface. Drawer sides have been shortened. Rubbing to paint and wear consistent with age; paint is of a later date. Piece may have been made later using period elements.
