Rare early Tiffany coin silver kettle, coffeepot and sugar circa 1854-5
John C. Moore design in the rococo taste with pivoting grapevine bound twig handle on urn-form body and acanthus covered dome cover with figural finial, highly chased body with scrolling acanthus, floral motifs, and vacant cartouches on fish scale pattern ground, supported on pedestal base and pinned stand; consisting of:

coffeepot, H12 1/2", marked: Tiffany & Co, Late, Tiffany, Young & Ellis

  • Sugar lacking cover, one vacant cartouche with small dent, the other with possible mono removal.

    Coffeepot with one vacant cartouche with small dent, the other with possible mono removal.

    Lamp without cover, and is not marked.

    Kettle slightly uneven on base, with one vacant cartouche with small dent, the other with possible mono removal, pivoting handle needs tightening at ivory insulators.
