Description:

Rare L. Baur in Ansbach approximately .17 caliber gallery rifle hammer action operating long lever through 24" octagonal barrel, which acts as firing pin for cartridge, which is inserted in chamber in final 7" of barrel, via cut-away section. Walnut half-stock with cheek-piece, wood trigger guard and metal buttplate. Profusely carved in Germanic style. Set trigger and rear peep-sight. NVSN.

    Condition:
  • The barrel is 23 1/2", 6 1/2" true barrel. The length of pull is 13 1/2".
