Description: Rare London E.M. Reilly 4-Bore SxS Double Rifle in Case SN 15625, circa 1876, under lever hammer, sidelock, double trigger, walnut stock, checkered pistol grip and forearm, Damascus barrels, chambers 3 1/4", LOP15", barrels marked: E. M. Reilly & Co. New Oxford Street London; in original case with tools, one 4-bore shell unfired, and two fired brass shells; barrels L36" overall 53 1/2"

Provenance: Property of a Southern Gentleman

  • Condition: Butt plate reglued. Barrel flats have heavy pitting, as well as extractors. Wood has light scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use. Wear to foregrip checkering. Bores are bright. Locks tight on face. No back sight. Gun has had restorations. Nice gun. Case with hinge deteriorations.
