Regency mahogany secretary bookcase circa 1830, top section with scroll pediment above flat frieze and glazed doors ahead of three shelves, flanked by reeded half-columns, on lower section with long drawer opening to reveal fallfront writing surface and arrangement of pigeonholes and small drawers, over cupboard doors, flanked by half-columns, on shaped bracket feet.

  • several glaze panels replaced; inset leather writing surface replaced; scattered veneer losses and repairs; feet replaced; hardware old and may be original; base section has two pull-out linen slides; other imperfections consistent with age.
