Scottish Empire walnut chest of drawers circa 1850
rectangular top over conforming chest with ogee front drawer, over three long drawers flanked by carved columns, on molded plinth and turned legs.

Condition:

Veneer chip to front of right front leg, and side of left front leg. Stabilized shrinkage cracks to veneer of top toward back edge, rather wide cracks in right hand side panel. Some sunbleaching and overall wear consistent with age.
