Scottish silver tea set Glasgow, James Reid & Co., dated 1883, ovoid bodies heavily chased and embossed with Chinoiserie figural cartouches on scrollwork ground and guilloche lappets, consisting of:
teapot, H6 3/4"
open sugar, H5 1/4"
creamer, H4 1/2"
marked: complete hallmarks; and Total 36.8ozT

Teapot with light ding to one side of body near base; lid doesn't sit perfectly flush on neck of pot. Sugar with base of one handle slightly compressed into body (visible mainly from interior). Good condition, with minor age-typical usage wear and surface scuffs. Not monogrammed.
