Set of New York Classical mahogany Klismos side chairs, school of Duncan Phyfe circa 1815, articulate and detailed chairs each having paneled rectangular and concave flame mahogany veneered crestrail above distinctive curule backrest supported by reeded stiles with scroll tops continuing as seatrails and saber legs with padded slip seats; the eighth chair made by Kirk Rush of Camden, South Carolina with rear seatrail marked with his name and "2000."
