(Good condition) H28 3/4" D32 1/4" W40" open *Provenance: Family history states that the table came from the Pomaria Plantation located near Pomaria, SC, sometimes referred to as the 'Summer Plantation' as that was the family name. The table originally belonged to Heneretta Dreher who married Rev. Daniel Efird in 1852. It has always been said that Heneretta Dreher Efird inherited this table from her father, Rev. Godfrey Dreher (1789-1875). The Dreher and Efird familes were from Lexington county and their plantation was on the Lexington side of the Lake Murray Dam. Much of their land is now covered by the lake but during the 1800's their home was about three miles from the Saluda River. Heneretta and Daniel Efird's daughter, Alice Efird, married into the Summer family and that is how the table came to Pomaria.
