19th century rectangular upper section fitted with pair of drawers above an opening, flanked by doors concealing pigeonholes and partitions; resting on a lower case with two small drawers at rear flanking hinged tilting writing surface with green leather insert opening to reveal a well, above a frieze fitted with pair of drawers; raised on turned legs, with poplar secondary woods. (Good old repairs, some shrinkage cracks and scratches to top, cracking of wood to left hinge; overall good condition consistent with age) H54" W56 1/2" D30 1/2"
