alkaline glaze having tooled rim flanked by proud tab handles above squat bulbous form, bearing incised "LM" and "X" at upper body.

Provenance: New York private collection.

  • Chip to right handle 1 1/2" by 1/4", minor 1/8" chip to rim, very tight hairline extending 6 3/4" from rim to body at lower portion of body 1/4" hole drilled clean issueing no hairlines or cracks to speak of having overall glaze skips and flaws as made with wear consistent with age.
