Southern stoneware jug, signed Collin Rhodes circa 1850, Edgefield, South Carolina
alkaline glazed with tooled lip having pulled and applied strap handle attached to slightly ovoid body centered by slip signature "C. Rhodes Maker" and flanked at left and right with slip tulip decoration.
