Southern stoneware storage jar by Dave, Edgefield District dated August 18, 1851, tooled rim over ovoid body flanked by handles, incised with date and LM and double slash.

    Condition:
  • unusually striated glaze; hairlines from center of base to center of body near one handle and from bottom quarter extending from handle horizontally almost all the way around
