rich alkaline glaze with tooled lip above high tab handles continuing to slightly ovoid shape centered by circular stamp at upper body.

Other Notes: The L.M. Landrum pottery operation was located in the present Forest Acres area in Columbia, South Carolina on the Eight Mile branch. The wares created there consisted of many forms such as ring jugs, coffeepots, decorative sugar bowls and more common utilitarian pieces such as churns, storage jars and jugs. The pottery was marked in several fashions; some bear the circular Landrum cross while others have a simple circular mark. There is also the scarce mark of "L.M. Landrum Columbia S.C."
