Provenance: Property from the Estate of the Binders of the Virginia Hunt Country. Previously from the collection of Sir William Mullens (1909-1975) an important collector of English enamels. Sold at Christie's Great Rooms, sale number 3554 on March 18, 1987, lot 467 as the propert of Lady Mullens.
