Description:

Sunderland pink lustre frog mug and English plates and bowl 19th century
Sunderland pearlware black transfer-printed, enamel decorated, pink lustre frog mug, printed with Wearmouth Bridge in black, H4 3/4"; stick spatterware in colors on flow blue plate, Dia.10"; Adams Rose pattern plate, signed: Adams on reverse, Dia.10 1/2"; and Mason's ironstone blue-and-white Canton pattern bowl, H3 1/4" Dia.6 1/2" (4pcs)

Provenance: From the collection of John Leermaker, Rochester, New York, then by descent.

    Condition:
  • Mug: hairline near handle, on left side of cartouche, and two on interior. Chips to base, wear to some of the transfer phrase, and wear to lustre.

    Flow blue plate: good condition.

    Rose pattern plate: two small repairs to rim, crazing, wear, and discoloration to rim.

    Bowl: firing flaw to interior, otherwise in good condition.
