Three Confederate Civil War crutches circa 1864 pair with padded armrest and tapered support (One missing padding); other a single in traditional painted form (Good original condition). pair H48 1/2"; single H48 3/4" *Note: Pair accompanied by letter from Francis Alfred Lord, author of the Civil War Collector's Encyclopedia. States that the crutches came from Charleston, SC and were used by a crippled Confederate soldier.
