Beckman to Thomas Swifts for 'one certain Negro man named Toby', H13 1/4" W8 1/8"; May 1844 Bill of Sale for $400 from Michael McBride to C. J. Beckman for 'a Negro boy named Ben warented sound and healthy', H13 1/8" W8 1/16"; January 1855 Bill of Sale for $910 from C. J. Beckman to Henry D. Lesesne for 'the slaves Lizette (unsound), Judy and Abraham...together with the future ifsue (issue) and increase of the females', H13 1/2" W8 1/4"; Confederate States of America $50 bond with 16 coupons, dated May 23, 1862, H14 1/2" W13 3/4" (All are legible, with some discoloration or staining).
