Description:

Two Southern stoneware jugs first quarter 20th century slightly flared rim on one gallon size ovoid body with strap handle and flog skin glaze with turkey eye decoration on side, H11"; one gallon stacker jug with L-form handle extending from rim to stepped shoulder on cylindrical body decorated with modified Albany slip glaze, H10 1/4".

    Condition:
  • Jug with frog skin glaze in good overall condition with traces of blue paint.
    Stacker jug with glaze pops and chips.
