Description:

Two U.S. entrenching tools Model 1917 trench knife, steel and wood hilt, triangular blade, marked "A.C. Co. U.S.A. 1917" on inside of guard, L14 1/8"; Model 1873 entrenching tool in leather scabbard, turned wood grip, broad flat steel blade, marked "U.S." on wood at ferrule and top left side of scabbard, L13" W3 1/2".

Provenance: Property deaccessioned from the Centennial Museum at the University of Texas at El Paso to benefit the Museum Collections Fund. (Accession #E56.21.1 and E57.15.1)
