serial number 18663; .44 rimfire, military style sights, walnut stock, nickel finish, marked "WHITNEYVILLE ARMORY CO. PATENTED, 01.17.65 RE-IS'D JUNE 25, '72, DEC.26, '65, RE-IS'D OCT.1 '67, MAY 15, '66, JULY 16,'72."

Provenance: Property deaccessioned from the Centennial Museum at the University of Texas at El Paso to benefit the Museum Collections Fund. (Accession #50.18.4 inked on triggerguard). Brass plaque with State of Texas Inventory #724-16636 screwed into buttplate.

Other Notes: Military rifle style but not in a military caliber. Probably a target rifle for "military" style matches.
