NVSN; Allin conversion, trapdoor, walnut stock, bright finish; marked "U.S. Springfield" and eagle and 1862, part of barrel date visible, U.S. on buttplate; together with U.S. marked triangular blade bayonet.

Provenance: Property deaccessioned from the Centennial Museum at the University of Texas at El Paso to benefit the Museum Collections Fund. (Accession #56.46.01 inked on triggerguard, 36.109.4 on socket of bayonet). State of Texas paper label on buttplate.
