Unusual English mahogany letter box circa 1850 in the form of a slant-front desk with faux tambour doors, opening to reveal stationery compartments and tray; the lower part with a long drawer opening to fitted interior of two glass and brass inkwells divided by lidded compartment; raised on brass winged paw feet.
