Winchester model 1873 lever-action rifle, SN573449B 22-caliber rim fire, 24" octagonal barrel with buckhorn rear sight, original walnut stocks with crescent buttplate, engraved dust cover intact, with elaborate factory scroll engraving; manufactured circa 1902.

Bore poor, rifling worn. Metal with smooth patina, screws good, dust cover present. Action smooth and functioning. Possible factory engraving by Kornbrath or others. Wood with handling marks and scratches. 3/4" x 1" chip cut out of right side.
