Wood & Hughes Neo-Grec silver medallion decorated tazza New York, dated 1866, palmette band on shallow bowl with center medallion and flanked by handles inset with medallions of Mercury in profile, raised on pedestal with conforming banding; underside engraved: Lilly, From Uncle Larz, June 12, 1866; and Elizabeth From Grandmother, Feby-14th 1893; marked: W3H, 900/1000.

Provenance: Estate of Michael M. Finefrock, Charleston, South Carolina.

    Condition:
  • Pedestal re-attached; small imperfections to bowl; with normal wear and scuffing consistent with age and use.
