American classical mahogany four poster tester bed
circa 1850
fitted with half-lapped slatted tester above tapered octagonal posts topped with heavy turnings, flanking scrolling and paneled headboard, having square-edged side rails and footboard. (Wear consistent with age, good condition, some alterations to posts)
