Fine Chinese Export armorial plate circa 1810
round plate with scenic background depicting extensive mountainous landscape with figures centering arms of WIGHT (or) BRADLEY with motto: FORTUNA VECTEM SEQUITOR.

Provenance: Purchased from Alfred Peter Rochelle-Thomas, Palm Beach, Florida in the 1970s.

    Condition:
  • Rim professionally repaired: at the 2 o''clock position a section has been rebuilt and retouched approx 3"; another rebuilt section from 6 o''clock to 7''o clock feature two breaks that have been reattached, approx 2"; a section at the 9 o''clock position has also been rebuilt appprox. 1 1/2".
