Description:

French crystal and bronze-dore mantel clock mid 19th century, cut crystal vase with gilded bronze rim and swan-neck handles housing eight-day, time only movement with porcelain dial on gilded column to square glass and bronze base, on engine-turned feet.
H13 1/4" W7" D4 1/2"

Provenance: Estate of the late Francis D. "Skeeter" McNairy, Savannah, Georgia.

    Condition:
  • Dial with cracks and losses, minor flaking to glass around handles, dial opening and back opening, small dent in base, mainspring broken however movement appears to be complete, minute hand missing.
